Alexa has light blonde hair that she usually wears pulled back in a ballet bun for class or rehearsal. In her free time, she's a fan of light waves or straight hair. She's not fussy with her hair but she can style it nicely pretty quickly.
eye color: Brown
height and weight: 5'5'' and 100 pounds (she used to weigh between 108 and 110 before she started loosing weight. She gained six pounds when she was in the hospital after getting injured and before coming to Brook Haven).

OUT WHERE YOUR TROUBLES CAN‘T FIND YOU
OUT WHERE YOU LEAVE THEM ALL BEHIND
ballet, pilates, yoga, running, shopping, travelling
dislikes: nature, laziness, wasting time, people who don't adhere to schedules, talking about her feelings
strengths: ballet, hard working, dedicated, perfectionist
weaknesses:won't go with the flow, bratty, tendency to throw temper tantrums when she doesn't get her way, tries to manipulate people into doing what she wants
abilities: ballet, good liar when she needs to be
fears: failure, heights, getting on her father's bad side
goals: get out of brook haven, graduate, get a ballet contract
personality overview: Alexa can be your typical spoiled brat a lot of the time. She's used to her father just giving her whatever she wants because he doesn't want to actually deal with her. She's demanding and threatens to have her father sue people when she doesn't like something. But underneath that, she's actually just a scared little girl who wants a regular family. She wants a mom who's not too busy planning charity galas and going to fashion shows to notice she's struggling. She wants a dad who's not so busy making and spending copious amounts of money to pay attention to her. She wants a sister who didn't run for the hills and secluded herself at university to get away from their dysfunctional family. [/ul][/blockquote]

hometown: Born in London; has lived in Zurich, Shanghai, and New York City
history: Alexa is the pure definition of an international military brat - only without the military part. Born in London and raised in Zurich and Shanghai with a minor six months in Dubai when she was eight. The only thing that ever brought stability to her life was ballet. Her mother, a former dancer with the English National Ballet, had started her youngest daughter in ballet classes at the age of three. Back then it was all about butterfly wings and fairy dust and just moving to the music whilst waving pretty scarves in the air. It wasn't serious. It wasn't her life yet. When she was younger, she'd been the apple of her father's eye - he thought she was perfect. It wasn't until she was older that it changed. She could never live up to his expectations and demands.
She started attending the Royal Ballet School outside of London when she was eleven and moved to New York City to attend the School of American Ballet in grade seven. Ballet meant everything to her. The dream of graduating and getting a contract with a company, preferably the English National Ballet where her mom had been a principal, was all-consuming. She breathed, slept, ate, and lived ballet. It was the single most important thing in her life. Ballet wasn't a part of her life; it was her life. Alexa expected and demanded perfection from herself at all times. Being anything less than perfect and the best was failure - a mindset instilled in her by her overly demanding father. She literally worked herself to the point of exhaustion - spending her free time practicing, waking up at 5am to do Pilates exercises, buying Adderall and Ritalin to keep her awake, focused, and not hungry. It was all about being perfect. During the summer before freshman year she dropped eight pounds from her already very slender, ballet-toned body. People around her were starting to talk, but she didn't care. They were just jealous.
Unfortunately, her body couldn't continue the constant cycle of over-working, hugely under-eating, and continue to do ballet (not to mention all the ADHD pills she was popping to keep up her lifestyle). During a rehearsal, she came out of a turn wrong, twisted strangely, and dislocated her kneecap. It was a wake-up call to her parents that she needed help. Despite her screaming and hysterical protests, they decided to send her to Brook Haven where they hoped she would be able to recuperate and recover. Her father bought her a horse, a bunch of new clothes, and a plane ticket to Montana. It's not his problem - he just wants to throw some money around until someone fixes his daughter and she can go back to being an over achiever. Alexa is not interested in horses, not interested in Brook Haven, and all she wants to do is loose more weight and get back to New York so she can keep working on ballet.
