dislikes: abuse in any way shape or form against someone he knows or doesn't know. He will not tolerate abuse against animals either. He does not care for cigarettes or any type of illegal substance. He hates when the students talk back, he really has a hard time with dealing with anger, however working with horses and students you have to learn how to deal with both.

personality overview: Nate is full of compassion and love for humans and for animals. Because of how he was raised he is actually great with both. He knows when to be gentle and he knows when he can push a student or a horse a bit more to obtain there potential. He can also be a bit stubborn at times when he knows what he wants for the horse and student alike. He won't take no for an answer. history: Sometimes growing up in California has its perks. Sometimes its a complete and random chaos. This is Nate's story. Nate grew up the oldest out of a very big family. His father named Nate after his grandfather. This was done to continue on the family name. It is in his father's hope that when Nate was old enough he would settle down and find a wife and have a family. That he two would have a son and continue on the family name.
Nate growing up did not get close to Ronni or any of his siblings. In fact he felt so far apart from all of them. He felt that his brothers were going on there courses and that he was just stuck trying to figure out who he was going to become. At a young age it was expected of him to be the big brother figure to all of the kids. He was the one who drove them around when he was old enough. He was the one who helped with math problems. He was the one that tried to solve family arguments. In fact a quiet home in his opinion was a happy home. The less arguments the better.
As soon as he was old enough, really all of his life for that matter. He has a compassionate and soft edge for horses or for that matter any type of animal. He did not want to see them suffer. So even when he was younger, stray dogs, cats, birds, animals of every kind made it into his house where he nursed them back to health. In return he was able to figure out where his passion was and still remains to this day.
When his sister had turned fifteen, there was a fire. He had came back home to work with Ronni and Genesis. However the horse and his sister had shut him out and refused to let him in. They had put up some kind of wall and he for the life of things could not get it down.
Because his parents were doing all they could. He knew he would be stepping on toes in getting them to let him help at the house. So when all else failed, when they seemd to get no where he recommended Brook Haven. It seemed like a good place. He wanted something close to home and he himself applied to work there.
