And in his attempt to accept people as they are, he gets rather annoyed; when this happens, watch out. He's got a temper and his words have been known to hurt. Some people aren't going to like him, and that's okay, just don't expect a warm and fuzzy hug if you're giving off the 'I hate you' vibe.

Despite the choices Aidan's made, he's still an intellectual being, and requires that sort of stimulation. You can be the prettiest girl in the world but if you don't stir his mind, he won't bother. Deep inside he longs for love, but it causes him confusion because of his inability to sometimes understand emotion.
If you want a relationship with Aidan, be willing to adapt to him; he won't change for anybody and demands respect and understanding for the way he is. The ideal person for him would be someone who's willing to share his adventures with, not just someone who wants to sit on the couch, or talk about clothes.
It's also noteworthy that it's probably not wise to press him emotionally or tie him down with demand and obligations; it may cause him to run. Oh, and don't get jealous, he can't stand it. If you give him all he needs, he'll be completely faithful so you shouldn't worry when he's out on his own. Give him space and respect his privacy and all will be well.
Aidan would ideal for someone who loves a challenge and adventure since that's what his life is.

It was obvious enough to him that his brother couldn't care less when Julien turned him away in his hour of need, refusing to even take him temporarily into his home. As far as Aidan's concerned, this relationship is irreparable and a waste of time even talking about, let alone breath.
