personality overview: Wish has her head in the clouds, she believes everything is magical and life is beautiful. She's somewhat deluded, but it really does make her happy. A good thing though is that she'd never force this view on anyone else, she just strives to help them see it herself. She's got the patience of a Saint and will stop at nothing to help a person. She can become a little too attached to a person and feels their emotions strongly. This goes for animals too, and helps as all of her horses had come from bad backgrounds and are now champions. She works magic. You just have to Wish. She's a very calm person, and stays in that mind frame whatever the situation. Nothing really ruffles her feathers, her temper is almost non-existent.
Her faults, like her positives, are numerous. She's easily led, and can be fairly naive. Her views can be clouded. She can be a pushover too, as she just wants to please and people take advantage of this. She isn't like that around her horses though, that is where she's her most firm. She doesn't really like conflict, and sometimes she can't help but show it. She never does around her students though, she knows she has to be the authority figure.
Wish's intelligence is incredible. She is one of those rare people who has a photographic memory. Everything she sees, she remembers. She excels at languages and loves anything to do with numbers. She could have been anything, but her passion is horses. That's what brings her to be an instructor. No matter how clever she is, horses come first. Plus, photographic memory does help when learning dressage routines.[/ul][/size][/blockquote]

hometown: Reading, England. Moved to Montana when she was eight, lived there ever since except when attending university in San Francisco.
history: Wish was born to two very eccentric parents in Reading, England (Just look at her and her siblings names..). They were very loving, and adored their pretty blonde daughter. But there was one member of the family who did not. Her older brother Lucky. Lucky hated his little sister with a passion, he was jealous of the attention she got and envied her intelligence. He was never going to make it easy for the little girl. It wasn't long until the boy started abusing the young girl, threatening her with death. She remained silent, just wanting to please him. Get him to like her. It was all she craved. They now had another sister, but Lucky did not care for her. Wish was his target, her alone.
School became a refuge for the young girl, as did the stables down the road from her home. She spent as much time as possible there, taking part in after school clubs and learning to ride. With the move to Montana, it gave her brother a little more freedom to take advantage of her while they were settling in, but Wish returned to a similar routine as in England when they found a stables. Her parents were unaware, but Wish believed Star knew. She was right, and swore her sister to secrecy. She was scared, Lucky terrified her.
Riding came to her as easily as education. Her instructors were proud, she was a prodigy. One was so proud, he believed Wish should thank him in a special way. The same way her brother used her. She soon got a new instructor though, and pushed it to the back of her mind. Then, one day, Lucky grew tired of her completely. He decided it was time to get rid of her. So he held her under water, strangling her. Star's screams were the only things that saved her. Her parents found out about everything. Instead of going to the police, they kicked him out. He was never to be seen again by them, though there had been a few letters and phone calls. Wish felt guilty. She was naive. She thought it was her fault. She would carry that burden for the rest of her life.
After school ended, and before she started university (Modern languages), she threw herself into the horses. Her personality remained as it always had been, the abuse had never affected her because she suppressed it. It didn't exist. Not in her mind. Her family never spoke of it, she never went to therapy. Life just went on. She devoted her life to rehabilitating horses that had been abused, like herself, and her school work. She was made a reserve at the last Olympics, but never competed. She hopes to compete in the Olympics eventually though, it's her dream.
Due to her past, relationships have been rocky for her. She tends to enjoy female companions more than male, but has had male partners. She wants a family of her own in the future, preferably very soon. She's open to many things, and loves to just be held and feel loved. She wants someone to provide that for her. She's been used too much. It kills her more than she lets on.
At fifteen, Wish's hands started to seize up regularly. They became painful. She had days where she could barely use them, if at all. At seventeen, she was diagnosed with arthritis in her hands. She was given exercises and pain relief tablets to help. They do. But she doesn't want to become reliant on drugs. She knows that one day she'll lose all use of her hands. It terrifies her. She won't be able to do what she loves most. Ride. She's making the most of it now.
Wish had been looking for work when she'd stumbled across Brook Haven Ranch. The place was perfect. She could help people, people who had been through things she knew, and horses. This job could not be more perfect and she was surprised to not have heard of the place before. She applied, and got the job. So here she, Tiptop and her three horses are. Ready for a fresh start.
