history: Whether it's something in the water or something in the blood, Celeste is one of a family with two sets of multiples, her older brothers Evan and Kyle and her triplet sisters, herself, Noelle and Blake. She loves her family dearly, but she's always been overshadowed by her siblings. Kyle is in law school at Yale and Evan is working on getting his degree in criminal justice, Noelle has always been great on the guitar and Blake has the charisma and the bad attitude. While Noelle is the quiet one who appears unassuming and shy, Celeste always makes a big show of things, flashing her sexuality in peoples' faces and making a big deal about herself.
But it's overcompensation. Her life has been lived mostly in the shadow of the others, and in partiularly in the shadow of her politician mother. Now Randi is only working in the legal profession, but Celeste still looks up to her mother and wishes that she recognized her more. It is mostly due to this isolation that the girls and Evan turned toward cocaine as a means of getting them through the more difficult times while Kyle has turned to self harm instead.
Celeste was the one who was caught with the cocaine that her sister Noelle had planned on selling on. And because of that, she was given an ultimatum; court, or Brook Haven. The draw to the Ranch was a strong one, and Celeste chose the route that she thought was obvious, since a conviction was assured. Now here she is, fighting to understand what's going on in her life, and wondering how she's ever going to live her life without that closeness to her identical sisters that she once had. Sure, she'll make it through, but she's going to need friends more than ever. The question is, can she trust herself?
